Writing right!

I love to write. However, my most valuable critics at home, seem to think that my writing is too generic, too impersonal. I agree. And it is intended to be so. I write what my thoughts, my opinions, and my feelings dictate. I don't need to give reference to that. I can only speak with confidence for myself. Moreover, my writing is based on my everyday life experiences, be it something I read, discussed, witnessed, or felt. Writing to me is therapy. It allows me to purge my feelings and cleanse my thoughts. I tend to overthink and as my wife accuses me , I can be over dramatic as well 😄. Since I doubt I will ever get another human who will have the patience to sit and listen to me rant and vent, I write. I like to generalize my prose because though we all may face the same or similar situations, as individuals, our perceptions and attitude towards that will definitely differ. So, maybe , some part of my writing may reflect or resonate with some people or may strike a chord with others. For some it may be pure gibberish 😉 Writing gives me perspective. It gives me clarity. It gives me closure. On a lighter note, if the shoe fits... 😄 --------BiH@g ( copy right© reserved )
