Let’s be real for a sec.
Life? It gets heavy sometimes. And I mean the ca n't-get-out-of-bed, music-on-repeat, mind-running-a-marathon kind of heavy. We don’t always talk about it out loud, but most of us have been there. Or… we’re still there right now.
Recently, I've felt trapped in my mind, sleeping excessively, ignoring messages, and endlessly scrolling without truly noticing anything. It's as if I'm present, but not truly here. Do you understand what I mean?
And in the middle of all that? I realized something. I wasn’t broken. I was just feeling. Deeply. Loudly. Messily. And that’s not something to hide from, it's something to sit with.
Because sometimes, healing doesn’t look like a glow-up or a cute quote on Pinterest.
Sometimes, it’s crying on your bedroom floor at 2am.
Sometimes, it’s cancelling plans.
Sometimes, it’s texting “I’m not okay” and hoping someone replies with “I got you.”
So if you’re reading this and you feel like your world is spinning a little too fast or maybe not moving at all, just know this:
✨ You don’t have to rush your healing.✨ You don’t have to “fix” yourself.✨ You don’t have to be okay right now.
Feel it.
Sit with it.
Be in it.
That’s not weakness. That’s courage.
And if no one’s told you lately: You are not too much. You are not a burden. You are not alone.
Maybe you've been the one holding everyone else together. Maybe you've been silently hoping someone would hold space for you.
So here’s your reminder: You don’t have to carry it all.
Let someone in. Let them sit in the dark with you. Even if they don’t have the right words.
Even if they just sit quietly.
That silence can feel like love, too.
Let’s normalize:
🖤 Not having it all figured out
🖤 Taking mental health days
🖤 Saying “this hurts” without explaining why
🖤 Holding space for others without trying to fix them
